I think Battlefield is a great place too! Great mix of housing, cafes, park, reataurants etc. and easy access to town! Have you been to the Battlefield Rest? It’s a very good Italian restaurant but it didn’t start out as a restaurant! Do you know what it was originally and how it got its name?
The “Battlefield Rest” used to be a tram station and a newsagent. I think it got it’s name when people used to rest and wait while waiting for the tram. I will put a picture of the old Battlefield Rest for you on a new post.
